  • DARK CORNERS is our annual Social + Mystery + Dance + Party for folks 21+ looking to immerse themselves in a unique world for a night—and make incredibly genuine connections along the way. Designed with Social Mixology™.

  • At Howl Harbor, "Monsters Only" means your costume should reflect something otherworldly, spooky, or beastly. Whether you're channeling a classic creature, embodying modern horrors, or creating something completely unconventional, we welcome all interpretations of the monstrous. The vibe is all about fun and creativity—so go big with your costume or keep it simple, as long as it's monstrous. And remember... no humans allowed!

    • 8 p.m.: Doors open for our cocktail arrival hour. Step into an immersive world where the night begins with mingling, anticipation, and several disturbing rumors.

    • 9 p.m.: We recommend arriving before this time, as it's when our hour-long social mystery takes center stage—an interactive blend of gameplay and social adventure designed to spark real connections and lasting memories. It’s part game, part social experience, where the people you meet are just as important as the mystery itself.

    • 10 p.m.: The evening crescendos with a narrative-driven musical performance, wrapping up the immersive experience.

    • 10:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.: The DJ kicks into high gear, turning up the energy and transforming the space into a dance floor where the connections made earlier carry into the late hours.

  • We recommend arriving between 8-9pm, as this window is designed for guests to roll in and get settled. However, 9pm is the time to aim for if you don’t want to miss out on the key parts of the night. This isn’t a typical “come and go” party—you can arrive late, but doing so means you might miss important moments in the social mystery and the overall flow of the evening. We highly recommend clearing your schedule and leaning fully into the curated experience for the best night possible!

  • Social Mixology™ is the secret sauce at A Curated Situation. This isn’t just another party—it’s a vibe, carefully designed to keep the energy flowing all night. Forget those awkward moments where you’re stuck at the sidelines. Our format is invisible and organic, with fun interactions and playful moments seamlessly woven into the evening, turning strangers into friends effortlessly. It’s all about creating an atmosphere where connections happen naturally—no pressure, just genuine good times. By the end of the night, you’ll leave with new friendships that feel as natural as they are unforgettable.

  • Early Bird tickets are available at a special rate of $60 for the first 20 guests who secure their spot. Standard tickets will be available for $75. Both ticket types include full access to our open bar with unlimited drinks all night long. As a special thank you, guests who attended our previous masquerade event, STOLEN (and filled out our survey), received an exclusive promo code. Use it at checkout to enjoy an additional discount on your ticket. DARK CORNERS always sells out, so grab your ticket as soon as possible to not miss out on this unforgettable evening!

  • The venue for this event is an actual speakeasy located near Mid-City. To maintain the secretive and exclusive atmosphere, the exact address will be provided only to ticket holders. The venue is street parking only, which can be limited. We highly recommend using a rideshare service, especially if you plan on enjoying our open bar.

  • There is no coat check at the venue. However, since everyone attending is either a friend or a friend of a friend, we typically have no issues with things going missing. That said, if you have any valuable items, we recommend leaving them in your car or at home and only bringing the essentials for the night.

  • This year's BOAT VAMPIRES ONLY evokes aquatic, beach, and boat-themed costumes and we encourage you to dial up the creative and campy elements to 11! Basically think of something water-related, and then add vampire on top of it—sunken pirates, mermaids, sailors, divers, surfers, coral, literally anything that blends the eerie with the watery.

  • Yes, there really is an open bar! While we won’t be serving food, you’ll have full access to our open bar, featuring two custom-themed cocktails crafted just for this event. We’ll also have a variety of basic mixers and drinks to keep you refreshed throughout the night as you dance, socialize, and solve the mystery.

  • All ticket sales are final. However, if you can’t make it, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend (assuming that friend knows one of the hosts). Just let us know the name of the new attendee, and we’ll make sure they’re on the guest list. Alternatively, if you’re unable to attend, you can choose to donate your ticket to someone who would love to join but might not otherwise have the opportunity. Just let us know, and we’ll take care of the rest!
